You are all over it. I'm about to get on Substack and I am going to be quite different than you. But I do want to start a recurring thing called, "How to Read The New York Times." It seems people hold that dirty rag in high regard so let's take aim. My current thought, how are we starting shit with China, yet no one I know can name a single Chinese leader? That is totally out of media character. Where is the customary villain campaign we ALWAYS roll out prior to our next war to prevent war?

But yeah, the only critique I have is I don't think you cover the misdirection enough. That is the #1 strategy in my mind. In other words, WEDGE issues and the dumb co-opting of actual movements. Like, how did woke/BLM go from Kap kneeling in protest over militarized brutal policing circa 2017 to getting red-faced in defense of dudes wanting to jump in the pool and swim circles around female competition within a few years? Crazy. That issue just exploded and it deserves a real study. Where did this trans BS come from? And dig this, as stupid as it was/is, it was aided in the fact that it was the first wedge issue people got into via their phones. English teachers everywhere are flabbergasted by the dumb pronoun games. Make it stop, please.

Yeah, sure, it's abortion season again in the news, which can only mean REAL trouble ahead, but that shit got started long before phones in response to ____? Without looking, I'd probably guess to divide the earnest dissenters of some idiotic war policy like Vietnam.

But yeah, Trump is the ultimate misdirection now. We have wars in Europe and possibly China which means we are facing famine, energy droughts, and a tech famine within the next year. They can't count on the greatest NFL season of all time so they need Trump, abortion, and the fizzling trans issues more than ever.
